The history of the brand Dunhill

Alfred Dunhill entered the international floor of the cigar world in the distant year 1907, when he opened his first shop in London’s Duke Street. The store was well-stocked and, alongside Cuban cigars, also had a large selection of pipes and pipe tobacco. In view of the great response that his first tobacco store received, he decided to open a second one in London, in the Soho district.

Davidoff: Beat Hauenstein unites the best of two worlds

In a virtual but no less personal interview, Cigar Journal spoke to Beat Hauenstein, CEO of Oettinger Davidoff, on the status QUO of the family company. Despite the atmosphere of the crisis, the passionate skydiver ventured a look into the future. Because, if there is anyone who has learned to deal with difficult situations on the fly, it is the 52-year-old Swiss national.

Studying pays off
