Malaysia’s cigar scene is booming. Fidel’s Cigar Lounge at The Palace of the Golden Horses hotel in Seri Kembangan, one of four new cigar lounges welcoming cigar lovers in KL, will be unveiled on Saturday 22nd of June with the official opening of the hotel’s Truefitt & Hill barbershop.
Located next to the hotel’s Polo Lounge, access to the cigar venue is through double doors of the renowned British barber.

Founded in 1887 by William Curtis Draper, it is the oldest full service tobacconist in the District of Columbia, third oldest in the United States, and owned and operated by John Anderson and Matt Krimm.

Healing up and returning to corporate America, he quickly realized that it was time to flex his entrepreneurial muscle, build a shop of his own, and create a legacy that could be passed on to his children and his children’s children.

For Mina Herran, owner of Mina’s Cigar Lounge, the venture didn’t go as originally planned, which proved to be a blessing in disguise. In June 2017 Herran became the first African-American Female owner of a premium cigar brick and mortar in the city of Baltimore, MD.
