Casa 1910 Announces Strategic Partnership with Smoker Friendly

Casa 1910 AG has announced a strategic investment and equity partnership with Smoker Friendly, the largest brick-and-mortar tobacco retailer in the United States, operating more than 1,000 retail locations nationwide.

The agreement marks Smoker Friendly’s entry as a strategic industry partner in Casa 1910 and represents a significant milestone for the Mexican premium cigar category in the U.S. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.

Founded on a commitment to authentic Mexican tobacco, Casa 1910 has built its reputation over the past five years with premium handmade cigars produced exclusively from tobacco grown in the San Andrés Valley of Veracruz. Since its launch, the company has expanded distribution to 39 countries and more than 55 international airports through partnerships with leading travel retail operators, including Heinemann Group and Avolta.

The partnership further strengthens Casa 1910’s position in the U.S. market. Smoker Friendly CEO and owner Terry Gallagher, who also serves as Chairman of the Cigar Association of America (CAA), joins the company alongside President and co-owner Dan Gallagher as strategic partners, reinforcing the long-term growth strategy for the brand.

The investment also complements Casa 1910’s existing collaboration with Proximo Spirits, the distribution company behind José Cuervo. Together with Reserva de la Familia, Casa 1910 hosted more than 200 tasting events worldwide last year and plans to continue expanding these experiences across the United States and international markets.

As consumer interest in Mexican tobacco continues to grow, the partnership provides Smoker Friendly with an authentic Mexican premium cigar brand while supporting Casa 1910’s continued expansion in one of the world’s most important cigar markets.
