A brand that perfectly represents tradition combined with new horizons is Aladino, by Justo Eiroa, winner of this year’s Cigar Trophy award for the best boutique brand in Honduras. Both Justo and the next generation of the family, Vivian Eiroa, are working to develop further in international markets, but always with the unforgettable reference of his father, Julio Eiroa.
As a new release for the Intertabac show, Aladino presents its new limited edition Cameroon, with a Cameroon wrapper, which will be sold starting next month in a toro format (6 x 52). In addition, a new blend that is not yet going to be released to the market, but of which Justo is very proud because it is a cigar made from 100% Cameroon tobacco, wrapper, binder and filler. Lastly, something that Aladino had not done before: its five regular lines, but in box pressed format, which are sold in 10-count boxes, with two cigars of each line.
One exciting news is that Julio Eiroa has been working for years on a new seed that, in the opinion of his son Justo, will recover the essence of the aromatic and medium-profile tobacco of the 60s. We will be able to see that in the not too distant future, because Julio Eiroa, who is part of the CIgar Journal hall of fame and is an internationally recognized master of tobacco, does not want to give it up, despite having been working on this development for a decade, until it is perfect.
