Lange haben die Veranstalter der Whisky & Tobacco Days, Jens Tausch, Cigar & Spirits Consultant und Thorsten Herold, MacMalt Whisky Home, gewartet wie sich die entsprechenden Auflagen für eine Endverbrauchermesse bezüglich Corona verändern werden. Leider nicht positiv. Daher wurde nun mit größtem Bedauern beschlossen, dass die Messe dieses Jahr nicht stattfinden kann. Zu viele Einschränkungen und Sicherheitsbestimmungen sind zu berücksichtigen, die eine Endverbrauchermesse in gewohnter Form unmöglich machen.

Court of Appeals Strikes Down FDA Warning Labels
In 2016, FDA decided to regulate cigars and require massive health warning labels on all cigar products. Due to ongoing litigation, the warning label requirement has not yet taken effect. Today, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit struck down FDA warning labels for all cigars, declaring that they are “arbitrary and capricious.”
