With the summer in full swing and the COVID curve now flattened in New York for more than a month, the city’s longstanding cigar bars are making difficult decisions about the best way to begin reopening.
Fine Tobacco NYC and Artesano Del Tobacco have announced the launch event for the Viva La Vida, an AJ Fernandez-blended Nicaraguan puro, taking place Thursday, March 14th at The Carnegie Club in New York City.
A Grand Opening of the new La Palina Lounge upstairs at the famed Carnegie Club in New York City will be held on May 23rd, 2017.
The cigar club “Fine Tobacco NYC”, founded by Matthias Clock, is an event-based association and thus the first of its kind. It is a contemporary cigar club, where members “explore the art and enjoyment of the cigar experience.”
The 90 visitors this evening were treated to an Alma Fuerte, a cigar made of 100 percent Nicaraguan tobacco, paired up with two glasses of Glenfiddich, the 14 Year Bourbon Barrel and the 15 Year Solera.
