The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) to go virtual in 2020. The fast response of the CSWC organization was the so called „Stay Strong” online season last year.

Am Samstag, den 25. April 2020, findet die dritte Österreich-Qualifikation im Langsam-Rauchen in Schladming statt. Ziel ist es, die Wettbewerbszigarre – eine Rocky Patel im Mareva Format – so langsam wie möglich zu rauchen.
CSWC: Das nächste (langsame) Jahrzehnt
Im Jahr 2020 geht die Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) ins zweite Jahrzehnt. Im Februar wird die neue Wettbewerbszigarre – eine Rocky Patel – vorgestellt. Die ersten Qualifikationsturniere starten dann in den USA. Den Turnierfahrplan werden wir rechtzeitig veröffentlichen.
CSWC qualification in Austria: Albert Scholz is Austrians new champion
For the second time cigar lovers gathered to Schladming for the CSWC qualification in Austria. 31 participants from Austria and Germany smoked at the slowest time, but the competitors from Germany were only allowed to compete in the world ranking.

Zum zweiten Mal fanden sich die Zigarrenliebhaber zur CSWC-Qualifikation für Österreich in Schladming ein. 31 Teilnehmer aus Österreich und Deutschland rauchten um die langsamste Zeit, die Mitstreiter aus Deutschland waren jedoch nur für die Weltrangliste zugelassen.
First CSWC Qualification event to ever happen in the Middle East
The first CSWC Qualification event to ever happen in the Middle East was held in Beirut at Eau De Vie Phoenicia Hotel on Saturday April 13. Lebanon’s top 5-star hotel and one of it’s best lounges. Hand Rolled SAL brought the event to Lebanon and the region for the first time with over 70 cigar competitors and 20 spectators having a great night full of excitement starting with a Macanudo Fuma Tasting and Cigar Journal Magazine Blind Cigar Review in a very relaxed and friendly environment.

Astor Bar hosts first 2019 Asian Cigar Smoking World Championship qualifier
The first Asian qualification round of the Cigar Smoking World Championship for 2019 was held on Saturday evening at Astor Bar, St Regis in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia’s Trinidad Cigar Company brought the qualification event to the country for the first time, with 14 competitors and over 20 spectators enjoying a night of cigar camaraderie and friendly competition.

Vom 26. bis 28. April 2019 findet in Schladming die Österreich-Qualifikation zur Cigar Smoking World Championship statt.
