Rocky Patel Cigars Reach Antarctica

Cigars have probably never been smoked further south and closer to both Poles. Rocky Patel cigars have now set this record together with the cigar lover Peter Rizzo.

Rizzo is the resident MD on the Davis Station. Davis Station is the southernmost Australian research station in the Antarctic. Rizzo recently had all his belongings, including his beloved humidors and cigars, which he had just bought at Naffa Arraf from Cigar Hut, the official importer of Rocky Patel Premium cigars in Australia, shipped to Antarctica in a container.

He took a box of Rocky Patel CSWC Mareva and a box of Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Petit Corona with him.
Peter Rizzo: “I have finally been able to get my shipment unpacked and have a cigar. They were absolutely brilliant. Please let Mr. Patel know that these are enjoyed beyond normal. It is such a special thing for me to have these kind of smokes in this kind of setting.”
