PDR Cigars announces the shipping to the European markets of the new Flores & Rodríguez 10th Anniversary Reserva Limitada Millefleurs Corona, the new size for its most premium line. The cigar will begin to be marketed in the coming weeks in Belgium and Luxembourg, although Abe Flores‘ idea is to gradually introduce it to the rest of the European countries and, finally, to China and the United States in 2024.
The new Millefleurs Corona is a 127 mm x 42 petit corona format that, according to Flores himself, was inspired during the last edition of Intertabac, after a conversation with his distributors in BELUX, Marc D’Argembau (Synergic-Belgium) and Philippe Van Wilderode and Jérémy Jacques (Central America Trading-Louxembourg), who told him about the need of covering the demand for a very popular Cuban vitola de galera, mareva (129 mm x 42), which, given the current shortage of Cuban cigars, can work well in the markets.
The blend is the same as the Flores & Rodríguez 10th Anniversary line, with an habano Ecuadorian wrapper, a Dominican olor binder and a hundred percent of Dominican filler, with seco and ligero priming of a piloto cubano seed that had been aged for seven years. The recommended price is around 6.00 euros, although it will depend on laws and taxes of each different country.
The new Millefleurs Corona is regularly incorporated into the most premium line of PDR Cigars, which is currently offered in robusto (127 mm x 52), gran toro (152 mm x 54), wide churchill (130 mm x 58) and figurado (165 mm x 52). All formats are sold in 24-count boxes.
