The battle for the home court advantage in the Cigar Smoking World Championship final in Split in September is now over, and the winner was of no surprise.

India became the next newbie nation to organize a Cigar Smoking World Championship qualification round when India Cigar Club and Cigar Kings India invited competitors to Delhi for an evening of smoking excitement.
US Final CSWC
Cigar Smoking World Championship founder Marko Bilic called it one of the biggest surprises in CSWC history when the US final took place at BURN by Rocky Patel in Indianapolis, Indiana this weekend. After 17 pre-qualifiers around the country the last man standing was the winner from the absolutely first one.
CSWC US 2
The US Cigar Slow Smoking World Championship pre-qualification rounds are now done. Some events were canceled but all in all 17 competitions took place between June 23 and August 6.
The History of the CSWC
In 2009, Marko Bilić began organizing cigar events at a local bar in his hometown of Split.

The latter half of July was an intense one on the US Cigar Slow Smoking World Championship circuit.

After six pre-qualification rounds it was time for the UK final of the Cigar Slow Smoking World Championships.

The Austrian qualification round of the Cigar Slow Smoking World Championship featured some very experienced slow smokers this year, like Daniel Friedenthal.
CSWC Malaysia
On July 30 the Malaysian qualification round of the Cigar Smoking World Championships took place at the Chime Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
CSWC Italy
As with every qualification round of the Cigar Smoking World Championship this year the Italian one was long awaited.
CSWC Belgium
For the first time ever the Cigar Smoking World Championship set foot in Belgium.
CSWC Switzerland
The Cigar Smoking World Championship qualification round in Switzerland offered no surprise. The competition was held at Big Smoke Zurich, the biggest cigar event in the country, and this year’s winner was an experienced one.
