Kelner Cigars Announces Limited Edition “Kelner LE 80”

Kelner Cigars announces the release of “Kelner LE 80,” a limited-edition cigar created to celebrate the 80th birthday of industry legend Henke Kelner this December. This release was blended by Klaas Kelner at his Santiago factory as a tribute to his father’s legacy in premium cigars.

The Kelner LE 80 is crafted in an elegant Diademas Finas format (50 x 7) with tobaccos of Henke’s distinctive blending style. Dressed in a silky Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, the blend incorporates a touch of Yamasá tobacco.

We selected only the most exceptional tobaccos to create a blend that honors his sophisticated palate and celebrates his remarkable journey in this industry.”

Henke Kelner, reflecting on this tribute, shared: “Working together with my son to create this special cigar for my 80th birthday fills me with immense pride. The blend captures everything I’ve loved about cigars throughout my life – complexity, balance, and that unmistakable Dominican character the Kelner family has worked decades to perfect. This cigar represents not just my legacy, but our family’s ongoing commitment to the art of fine tobacco.”

Each Kelner LE 80 will be presented in boxes containing 10 cigars with a Boveda pack. The Kelner LE 80 will be available only in select quantities at premier tobacconists worldwide beginning late November / early December 2025.

Production will be limited to 2,000 boxes and 20,000 cigars, with just 1,500 boxes designated for the U.S. market.

The Kelner LE 80 is set to retail in the US market for $57 per cigar and $570 per box of 10.
