Plasencia Launches Alma Fuerte at Carnegie Club in New York

The dim light and the red striped 1920’s style walls of Carnegie Club set the stage when Plasencia launched their new cigar, Alma Fuerte, in New York. The 90 visitors this evening were treated to an Alma Fuerte, a cigar made of 100 percent Nicaraguan tobacco, paired up with two glasses of Glenfiddich, the 14 Year Bourbon Barrel and the 15 Year Solera.

„This is a result of love, passion and many years of work,“ vice president of Plasencia Cigars and Plasencia Tobacco, says as he introduces the Alma Fuerte to the visitors.
A jazz band set the mood as the people enjoyed their smoke and drink during an evening that was organized by Matthias Clock at Fine Tobacco NYC.

„I mostly spend my time at the factory or in the fields,“ Plasencia says. „At trade shows I get to meet retailers, but it’s rare that I meet the final consumers of our product, so I really like doing this.“
