Camacho will release the 2016 Liberty Series in celebration of the 4th of July in the upcoming days. The new blend comes in a 6 x 48/54/48 figurado size and features tobaccos from five different origins. 2,000 boxes of the limited edition cigar were being made for the U.S.A. The nation wide launch is expected for June 6, 2016.
The cigars feature a Habano 2000 wrapper from Ecuador as well as a Corojo Honduras binder. The cigar boxes display a triangular folded US flag with 14 stars in honor of the 14th year of this series. Each box contains twenty cigars individually numbered in their own cedar coffins. The MSRP is USD 18.00 per cigar (USD 360.00 per box of 20).
The 2016 Liberty Series will also be the first one to be sold outside the USA. The Europe release (1,000 boxes in total) is scheduled for November 2016.
