Great Wall Cigar launches Commemorative Edition in Macau

In the twenty years since Macau’s return to China in 1999, China has undergone tremendous changes, and Macau has also achieved rapid economic and social development. To commemorate this historical moment, Great Wall Cigars released commemorative “Miracle” cigars at the rooftop garden of the Rocks Hotel at Fisherman’s Wharf, Macau in January.

The Miracle cigars were jointly developed and released by Vang Kei Hong Trading Co., Ltd. and China Tobacco Sichuan Industrial Co., Ltd (Great Wall Cigars) and features 2 vitolas, a Gran Toro and Robusto. The Gran Toro features Chinese tobacco fermented in oak barrels and is a medium bodied cigar rolled exclusively by cigar roller Li Qiuyue, while the Robusto was fermented with Chinese liquor and Chinese Tea, and was rolled by cigar roller Liu Changyong.

The front of the box features the landmark of Macau, the ruins of St. Paul ’s Cathedral and is surrounded by a lotus, the city flower of Macau.great wall

This is not the first time that Great Wall Cigar has released a commemorative product related to important historical events in China. In 2018, Great Wall Cigars cooperated with Shenzhen Tobacco Import & Export Co., Ltd. to develop and release the Great Wall Miracle 40th Anniversary Edition commemorating China’s Reform and Opening-up.
