Just a bit Northwest of Milwaukee lies the village of Germantown, Wisconsin. Here in Germantown lies the wonderful cigar establishment that is called Metro Cigars. Myself being a German teacher by profession, and the fact that this lounge is in the town of Germantown, I am inclined to liken the environment of Metro Cigars to a term in German which really has no translation into any other language.
Head North on Alt-US19 in Pinellas County, Florida and you will pass through the tiny downtown of Palm Harbor. Just past the downtown area on the inland side of the road is Holy Smoke Cigar Cafe.
Located just outside Wisconsin’s capital, Madison, lies the town of Monona. In the lakeside town of Monona, there is a cigar lounge called the Tasting Room. In all of your travels, you may never find such a beautiful, elegant cigar lounge!
In 1939, a man named John H. Uhle opened up a tobacco and pipe shop in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Uhle would sit in the front of his store and repair pipes and blend pipe tobacco throughout the 1940’s.

In this town of Whitehall lies the friendliest cigar shop on Earth called New Tobacco Village. Much like the tv show Cheers, usually everyone knows the name of whoever walks in the front door of this cigar sanctuary. Owner and zen master, Lina Hadid controls the thermostat of the vibe that keeps the emotional temperature of the lounge at a steady 74 degrees!
