JRE Debuts Gorbusto by Aladino and Aladino Declaration at PCA

JRE Tobacco Co. made a strong impression at the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show in New Orleans with two notable Aladino releases that highlight the brand’s range — one rooted in fun and personality, the other in patriotism and history.

The Gorbusto by Aladino is a trio of short, stout cigars presented in a 4½ x 60 format, each tied to a distinct character: Gori, Chimp, and Orang. Rather than centering the story around tobacco specs alone, JRE took a more modern approach by pairing each blend with a lounge personality—the intellectual, the jock and the artist—making the line as much about identity and experience as it is about flavor. All three cigars are made exclusively from Honduran tobacco cultivated on the family’s own farm and rolled at the Aladino factory in Danlí. Each retails for $11 and is sold in 20-count boxes.

The Aladino Declaration is a more solemn offering, crafted to honor the 250th anniversary of American independence. Presented as a 6 x 52 toro in a 13-count box — symbolizing the original 13 colonies — the packaging itself tells a story, with the Betsy Ross flag on the outside and the current American flag and a passage from the Declaration of Independence printed inside. The blend uses 100 percent JRE-grown tobacco and carries a retail price of $15 per cigar, shipping in June 2026.
