JRE Tobacco Company announces the launch of Gorbusto (by Aladino), a new premium cigar line that introduces a character-driven approach to their Honduran craftsmanship. Gorbusto marks an evolution within the JRE portfolio.
Gorbusto is a medium-to-full-bodied Honduran cigar line featuring short, thick formats. Like all JRE products, this line is made entirely from 100% Honduran tobacco grown on the JRE Tobacco Farm and rolled in the Aladino factory.
The line’s tagline — “Defined by Character” — corresponds to one of three original characters, each with its own flavor profile and personality archetype. These are some of the personalities any cigar lounge regular will instantly recognize, or perhaps relate to themselves.
“Each cigar stands on its own — different wrapper, different vibe, different experience. It’s a modern way of approaching cigars, while staying rooted in tradition,” said Justo Eiroa, JRE Tobacco President.
Meet the Squad: Three Characters, Three Cigars Gorbusto introduces three characters — Gori, Chimp, and Orang — each representing a distinct personality found in any cigar lounge, paired with a cigar that reflects their nature.
GORI — The Alpha “Bold strength. Full presence.” Confident and driven, Gori represents the smoker who approaches everything with intention.
CHIMP — The Thinker “Refined depth. Quiet complexity. ” Observant and deliberate, Chimp prefers one meaningful conversation over the noise of a crowd.
ORANG — The Creator “Creative character. Unexpected notes. ” Expressive and free-spirited, Orang is the energy in the room.
