UK’s AITS Lunch At Lord’s

Inbetween ominous looking rainclouds, the 52nd annual Association of Independent Tobacco Specialists (AITS) trade lunch was bathed in sunshine at Lord’s, England.

The famous old cricket ground was host to retailers, suppliers and industry friends for a Champagne reception in The Harris Gardens, followed by a meal, entertainment and charity raffle in the Thomas Lord Suite.

TV and West End showman Brian Conley entertained guests – some rather more than they might have hoped! – and representatives from Hunters & Frankau, British American Tobacco and Tor Imports were among the sponsors of the event. Litto Gomez of La Flor Dominicana was among the Tor guests.

Following lunch, a long afternoon in the Lord’s Tavern, with plenty of good smokes, was how many attendees chose to continue the popular annual event.
