Manila cigar lovers recently gathered at 1824 Whisky and Cigar Bar for an indulgent affair that previewed two of Tabacalera Incorporada’s newest blends, the Don Juan Urquijo 20 Anniversario and the 1881 Perique Bold.
“Guests enjoyed the 1881 Perique Bold, available in a toro size with a maduro wrapper, and the Don Juan Urquijo 20 Anniversario corona, which were identified with pre-release private launch bands,” said Jose Perfecto, Tabacalera Incorporada’s Head of Domestic On-Premise & Corporate Sales. “Our new cigars were complemented by The Macallan whiskies including the 12 Years Sherry Oak, Fine Oak, and Double Cask while live cigar rolling throughout the night added plenty of atmosphere.”
All of Tabacalera Incorporada’s new cigar blends to be released in early 2017 include the Don Juan Urquijo Perique, Don Juan Urquijo 20 Anniversario, 1881 Perique BOLD, and the Tabacalera Maduro Edicion. These additions will be available in the USA through Mark Ryan of Daughters & Ryan Tobacco in standard boxes of 25.
“Besides the pre-release launch of two of our newest blends, we’re excited that Tabacalera Incorporada will open a new store in Makati City’s Ayala Center,” said Perfecto. “The new store will include a selection of cigars, Flor Fina Abanicos by Casa Mercedes x Tabacalera, and Vector torches and cigar cutters. Over the holiday period from 20 December to 3 January, our cigar rollers will be showcasing their skills at the exclusive Shangri-La Boracay Resorts and Spa. Our carving masters will also be on-site and can engrave and cigar box purchases.”
