Cavalier Genève was founded in 2012 by Swiss entrepreneur Sebastian Decoppet. Decoppet began by producing cigars in Honduras via third-party production before establishing Cavalier Genéve’s own facility, Fabrica Centroamerica de Tobacco S.A. in Danli.
Today, the brand is recognized by its distinctive design, which includes the instantly recognizable signature gold diamond leaf that can be found on its cigars.
To commemorate a decade of independent operations at FCT, Cavalier Genève has partnered with luxury Swiss brand CVSTOS on project that features a limited-edition CVSTOS Jetliner PS timepiece and a very special companion cigar dubbed 10 Years Crafting.
Both items were unveiled at the PCA Expo 2026 in New Orleans.
The Honduran-crafted cigar is a 6 1/2 x 52 medium-to-full-bodied smoke that is wrapped in Habano Jamastran leaf over a Habano Jalapa binder.
The real talking point, however, lies beneath, as Cavalier Genève has listed an ambitious mix of eight different filler tobaccos, including Ligero India, Ligero Jamastran, Ligero Paraguay, Ligero Jalapa, Viso Estelí, Viso Broadleaf Honduras, Seco Jamastran and Seco Copán.
At PCA 2026, the Cavalier Genève x CVSTOS pairing drew attention by marrying two timeless pursuits long associated with precision, patience and craftsmanship: fine cigars and Swiss horology.
