A Refined Return for Davidoff at PCA 2026

After a notable absence stretching back to 2019, Davidoff technically returned to the PCA Expo floor last in 2025.

This year, the Swiss powerhouse has arrived with renewed ambition.

“We were just getting our feet under us for that one, and now we’re back in a big way with the launch of a new core blend,” says American Ambassador Daniel Weghorn, standing in front of a sprawling, three-part booth.

At the center sits the new Davidoff Puro Dominicano, a new core offering that underscores the brand’s ongoing Dominican production that dates back to 1991.

Part of what Weghorn calls the Black Band Collection, the cigar is offered in three vitolas, including an elegant 5 1/2 x 50 Perfecto. The blend draws from six distinct regions within the DR, utilizing a total of seven different leaves.

It arrives to market in the U.S. on April 23, 2026.

Just steps away, the AVO section pivots geographically, showcasing the new Avo Expresivo, the brand’s very first cigar produced in Honduras. Wrapped in an oily Ecuador Corojo leaf over a Honduran binder and a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers, it marks the first addition to the AVO core line since 2021. The new red-colored presentation is sharper feels more contemporary, with a trio of sizes: Robusto, Toro and a true 7 x 48 Churchill – all set to debut on June 25, 2026.

Rounding out the Davidoff space is Zino, where the company continues to refine its value-driven luxury segment. The new Red Line, medium in body, joins the already successful Yellow Line to broaden the brand’s reach.

At PCA 2026, the message from Davidoff is clear: the hiatus is over, and the sense of optimism is in full swing.
