Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co. made a bold statement at the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show in New Orleans by unveiling the Colaboraciones series, a trio of limited-edition cigars born out of creative partnerships with two of the industry’s most respected manufacturers — Casa Carrillo and Oliva Cigar Co.
The concept behind Colaboraciones is straightforward but compelling: each of the three cigars highlights the distinct identity of a different factory while incorporating Oscar Valladares‘ prized Honduran tobaccos as a common thread. The result is three distinct smoking experiences under one unified series banner.
The Casa Carrillo collaboration leans toward classic richness, built around a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper and a Sumatra binder, with Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. The Oliva partnership takes a different direction, showcasing a Cameroon wrapper and binder over the same Honduran and Nicaraguan base. The third cigar comes from Valladares‘ own factory in Danlí, Honduras, featuring an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper atop a Honduran binder and filler.
All three are presented in a 6 x 52 toro format, priced at $18 each, with each blend limited to 1,500 boxes of 20. The series is set to begin shipping in late May 2026.
