Greece is one of the new countries on the Cigar Smoking World Championship map, and on July 1 the first ever Greek slow smoking champion was crowned.
“Three competitors stood out from the crowd,” CSWC founder Marko Bilic says. “Omiros Psomiadis took third place after completing his cigar in 1 hour and 23 minutes and Mary Matrogamvraki came in second with a time of 1 hour and 29 minutes, but the clear winner was Paul Pavlidis.”
Pavlidis managed to keep his cigar alive for 1 hour and 48 minutes, which also put him on this season’s top 20 list.
Outside the top three Giannis Nikolaidis won a prize for most beautiful ash. It went all the way from the top to the ring.
