The “Humidor Pope” Introduces His Latest Innovation: MACHT

Marc André, known to many as the “Humidor Pope,” has invented a new humidification system called MACHT.

The system is specially designed for tabletop humidors with a volume of up to 30 liters. This makes it possible for the first time to operate a tabletop humidor with the same precision as a cabinet humidor.

The unit controls temperature and air circulation, as well as humidification and dehumidification. Ventilation openings are variable so that the system can be used with all humidors. The power supply works with electricity or a power bank.

Sensor calibration is also available.

Overall, the MACHT system is a world first, the likes of which has never been seen before.

Peter’s love of cigars began in 2001, and since then his interest has continued to grow. Multiple trips to Nicaragua, Cuba and the Dominican Republic as well as attending numerous cigar festivals have increasingly fueled this passion. He finds being a member of the Cigar Journal blind tasting panel a great honor and pleasure. This all led to the opportunity to become an author on the Cigar Journal team.
