Puros Santa Clara came with a new line of cigars to this year’s InterTabac. The Platinum Edition comes in four sizes, Robusto, Toro, Short Robusto and Butt, and it features 100 percent Mexican grown tobacco.
“The wrapper is Habano, the binder is Negro San Andrés and the filler is a mix between Negro San Andrés, a dark Criollo 98 leaf and a light Criollo 98 leaf ,” Fernando Lopez at Puros Santa Clara, says. “The tobacco is aged four years, and we’re happy with the blend. It’s a unique flavor, with a little more strength than our other cigars.”
