Much anticipated by French enthusiasts, the Quai d’Orsay Robusto Diplomatico Regional Edition was launched Thursday evening in the salons of the Cuban Embassy in Paris. With his team, Antoine Bathie, director of the division of Seita cigars, gathered a hundred privileged, including his Excellency Hector Igarza, Cuban ambassador to France, His Excellency Jean Mendelson, Goodwill Ambassador for COP 21 and former ambassador of France in Cuba. All three recalled the strong historical and cultural ties between both countries.

The famous journalist and TV host Nikos Aliagas, exposed for the occasion and for the very first time a series of black and white photographs, „Faces of Cuba“.

The brand Quai d’Orsay, launched in 1974 by request of the Ministry of Economy Valéry Giscard-d’Estaing, is known as “the most French of Cuban brands”, though its portfolio has been significantly reduced through the years.
