Macanudo’s Inspirado line, initially launched for the European market in 2014 in the form of Inspirado Orange, now receives an additional expression, the Macanudo Inspirado White. The new line boasts an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper developed by General Cigar’s agronomists and aged for six years and an Indonesian binder over Nicaragua Condega & Jalapa and Mexican San Andrés leaves.
Jhonys Diaz who spearheaded blend development for Macanudo Inspirado White said, “We spent several years developing this blend, using tobaccos we refined and aged to perfection. Think of the most creamy, alluring cigar you’ve ever had, amplify the complexity and you have Macanudo Inspirado White.”
Macanudo Inspirado Black, a line released last year to the US market and available only at catalogue retailers, will be discontinued in it’s former blend and lineup and re-released. The new Black line sports a black and silver design, and uses an Ecuador Sumatra binder instead of its previous Dominican binder and Nicaragua and Mexico tobacco in the filler, replacing its former blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos.
Both releases are expected to arrive in US retail stores in July of 2017 and come in boxes of 20 cigars.
