The Habanos World Days, the virtual version of the Habanos Festival, started today and the company presented the new products for 2021.
The Cohiba brand is celebrating its 55th anniversary and of course it was the main featured brand for 2021 with three products.
The Cohiba 55th Anniversary (ring gauge 57 by 150mm) is a Limited Edition and it is going to be sold in the boite nature boxes of 10 units. The cigar comes with the pigtail, the traditional Limited Edition band and an extra band on the foot with the 55th anniversary logo.
In the Habanos Collection Series, the Cohiba Ideales (ring gauge 56 by 175mm) comes in 3,000 numbered boxes in shapes of books that identify the serie with 20 units. The cigar brings a second band with the 55th anniversary logo and a third band of the collection series in the foot.
The third Cohiba presented is the Cohiba Ambar (ring gauge 53 by 132mm) that will be incorporated at the classic line in boxes of 10 units.
The other two Limited Editon 2021 are the Hoyo de Monterrey Monterreyes no.4 (ring gauge 55 by 145mm) and the Bolivar Regentes (ring gauge 52 by 130mm). The Hoyo de Monterrey is going to be sold in boxes of 10 units and the Bolivar in boxes of 25.
The Montecristo Wide Edmundo (ring gauge 54 by 125mm) is another regular production cigar. The cigar comes with a second band with its commercial name and the new feature might be extended for the whole Montecristo line in the future. The Wide Edmundo is going to be sold in boxes of 10 and 25 units as well as in aluminium tubes.
Following the pattern of the recent years, this year Habanos presented a Gran Reserva. The Partagás Serie E no.2 Cosecha 2015 is the second Gran Reserva in the Partagás brand, with the first one being the Partagás Lusitanias launched in 2013. In this serie all the leaves used in the production of the cigars goes to a 5 year aging process and the cigars are sold in 5,000 numbered boxes of 15 units.
