Gurkha Cigars has announced the introduction of three new flavored cigars to the market after taking them off the shelves 12 years ago. The company states in a press release that the cigars are a response to the increasing requests and demand for a flavored product. The company used tobaccos from the Dominican Republic for this release.
“We are excited about our flavored cigars and the opportunity to broaden our appeal and flavor profile,” said Kaizad Hansotia, CEO of Gurkha Cigars. “Gurkha prides itself in listening to its customer and providing a variety of flavor profiles to satisfy any cigar lover’s palette.”
The cigars will be available in three flavors. The varieties will include Café Tabac (coffee), Red Head (cherry) and White Rascal (vanilla). They will be available in two sizes: a 25 count wooden box and a smaller cigar that comes in a travel 5-count tin. The box will feature a 5×52-sized cigar and retail for $160 per box. The tin features 4×34-sized cigar and retails for $14 per tin.
