Cigars International (CI) will open a Superstore in San Antonio on May 14, 2022. The new location will be the company’s third store in Texas and its eighth retail location in the U.S.
The San Antonio SuperStore is located in The Landmark, at 5630 Landmark Parkway, on Highway 1604 and the I-10 corridor in the city’s bustling outer loop. Sarah Santos, Senior Vice President of Scandinavian Tobacco Group, the parent company of Cigars International said, “San Antonio and the San Antonio-Austin corridor is one of the fastest growing regions in the country, with a trajectory that is predicted to continue over the next few decades. San Antonio’s highly-regarded economic development programs are driving the current influx of technology and electric automakers to the area which is adding to the stellar customer base that’s already in market. We look forward to serving the San Antonio community and its many visitors with our unique brand of cigar-centric hospitality.”
The CI San Antonio Superstore spans 7,197 interior square feet, and like its fellow superstores, has been designed to replicate a Northeast tobacco barn. Complete with a large-scale timber truss, CI San Antonio will be outfitted with an expansive, full-service bar and lounge, a private event space and more than 1,500 square feet of patio space with outdoor fire pits. Comfortable lounge seating, Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art ventilation will be available throughout the store to enhance the experience of CI guests.
CI has made impactful tweaks to enhance the San Antonio location. A fully staffed concierge desk will be located at the store’s entrance to welcome guests, and the interior bar has been reimagined in a communal table style, allowing for more seating and easier conversation between patrons.
