Noel Rojas, recently featured in Cigar Journal’s Spring 2026 issue, continues to build a reputation as the “King of the Small Gauges,” favoring slimmer vitolas that emphasize wrapper-driven complexity.
“We focus on smaller ring gauges because over 80 percent of a cigar’s flavor comes from the wrapper,” Rojas says, presenting his new Quiet Morning cigar. Though wrapped in Connecticut leaf, its blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican Ligero delivers a medium-to-full-bodied profile that defies the category’s milder expectations.
Also debuting at PCA 2026 is the limited-edition Cinco de Mayo, featuring seven-year-aged Connecticut broadleaf filler, a Nicaraguan binder, and an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, an indication of Rojas’s continued focus on depth and balance.
His booth in New Orleans maintained a steady buzz, reflecting a boutique brand clearly on the rise.
