The first thing you see when you come to the Oliva Cigar booth at InterTabac in Dortmund is the white boxes of Nub Cigars. They were launched at this year’s PCA, and now they’re introducing them internationally.
“They used to be wood colored, but we decided to make them white because we wanted boxes that popped out in the stores,” says Marketing Director, Laure Boisbouvier.
They’re also introducing a new limited edition in the Serie V Melanio series.
“It’s a Robusto Extra, 5 x 54, and the key in this design is the leaf. We decided to go back to the roots and inside the box there are beautiful brown and golden leaves.”
Last but not least, Oliva Cigar is celebrating the Chinese zodiac for the third time.
“We’ve done Year of the Dragon, Year of the Snake and next year is the Year of the Horse. This cigar is only for the international market and the design is beautiful. It’s a red box with the horse on it and red velvet inside.”
