New Cigar and a New Size from Brun Del Ré at InterTabac

A new size in the Premium line, an affordable half filler and a new version of an old brand. That’s what Brun del Ré brought to the table at this year’s InterTabac in Dortmund.

The new size is an Immenso Robusto in the Premium line. It’s 60×4 and they come in a box of 25 or 10.

“It’s the first line we created and still our top seller, but we decided to upgrade the availability,” says Carlo Corazza, founder of Brun del Ré. “We’ve only had three sizes before and we decided on this size because that’s what the customers have asked for. We already have that size in the Gold and Rain Forest lines.”

The half filler is called Campesino, and it’s made with all Costa Rican tobacco.

“It’s a mild to medium cigar with aroundish flavor. While the Premium line is more of a morning smoke, this is maybe a cigar you smoke after lunch.”

Last but not least, the Gold line has received an upgrade.

“We exchanged the Jalapa filler for a Costa Rican, because the flavor works better with the Ecuadorean wrapper.”
