After three decades of international expansion, the Perdomo family decided to realign its distribution strategy. The choice fell on Kopp Tobaccos; the distributor will thus have an extensive selection of Perdomo cigars in its range from February 1, 2026.
Oliver Kopp: “We are delighted to be able to include such an international cigar heavyweight in our portfolio. We offer the full range. We work nationwide. Our well-trained sales force will gradually expand the number of existing points of sale and guarantee consistent delivery.”
Nick Perdomo, President and CEO of Perdomo Cigars, added: “We are delighted to be working with the Kopp family and to make Germany one of our most important markets. Kopp Tobaccos shares our idea of tradition and our understanding of quality. This makes them the ideal partner to further expand the Perdomo brand.”
The Perdomo portfolio includes classics such as the 10th & 20th Anniversary Series, Bourbon Barrel Aged, Lot 23, and Fresco, as well as special lines such as Legacy, 30th Anniversary, and Double Aged 12 Year Vintage, which impressively demonstrate the company’s high level of fermentation expertise.
The year 2025 marked a milestone for Nick Perdomo. He was honored by Cigar Journal with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the global cigar industry. That same year saw the release of Perdomo Legacy, a tribute from his son in honor of his father. His son Nicholas III is now the fourth generation to master the art of cigar making. Nicolas used home-grown Nicaraguan shade-grown tobacco from the Finca Natali in Estelí for this cigar.
