Linda Giang joins Hathor Group as US-based Brand Ambassador

Linda Giang, former manager of Sky Tobacco in New Jersey, has taken on a new role with Hathor Group as Brand Ambassador, Cigar Curator, and Social Media Liaison. Hathor Group distributes cigars and single-cask whiskies throughout South East Asia, and operates private clubs and whisky and cigar bars including The ChindAsia Club and Whisgars in Thailand. Linda will represent Hathor Group in the US, attend events on their behalf, curate Hathor Group’s cigar selection, and maintain a cigar blog/forum to educate the Asian market on non-Cuban cigars and trends.

“Having an opportunity to work in a very different and unique market caught my attention. I have experience purchasing cigars in the US, but Asia is a whole new animal. For me, the key to being a great cigar curator is truly knowing your market and understanding their palate, but also knowing how and when to push the boundaries by getting your consumers to try something they wouldn’t normally smoke. Asia is a growing market and I look forward to being a part of it.”

Linda will be based in Miami, but regularly travelling to Thailand, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, and Honduras.
