CSWC World Record

History was made at a time chase event at M&P Wine Garden Marina Mokotów in Warsaw on May 10. After five long years the slow smoking world record was finally broken. The record holder is none other than Poland’s own Klaudia Ide. At last year’s finals in Split she came in 13th at 1 hour 49 minutes and 22 seconds while her boyfriend Borys Szkodzik won the whole thing. Now, his impressive winning time of 3 hours, 20 minutes and 3 seconds is only the second best time of the household as Ide crushed it, coming in at 3 hours 53 minutes and 9 seconds. It’s a whopping 14 seconds longer than that of the Swedish Tiger, Igor Kovacic. To make things even more dramatic, it happened on the very birthday of the fallen one.

”It might only be 14 seconds, but they are significant 14 seconds,” founder Marko Bilic says. ”So many top smokers have given more than their best to break it, but only Klaudia has managed to perfom this seemingly impossible feat.”
