Years ago, Eugenio Alliata Bronner at Cezar Bronner Cigars decided to stop making cigars with a Connecticut wrapper, until now. At the InterTabac trade show in Dortmund, he launched his new line, the Connecticut Foliage.
“With more knowledge and experience, I wanted to start again, using the best quality Connecticut wrapper,” he says. “Connecticut is more difficult because it’s more bitter than for example Maduro or Negro San Andrés, but I think we managed to make a well-balanced special blend with a good taste.”
The cigar comes in two sizes, Robusto and Toro. It’s mild to medium, and according to their Instagram it’s a cigar “where rich flavors of coffee, leather, and chocolate meet elegant wood notes”.
