Manifatture Sigaro Toscano (MST) is celebrating the inclusion of its most iconic cigar, the Antico Toscano, into the official register of „Historical Brands of National Interest“. This recognition, granted by the Italian Ministry for Business and Made in Italy, is reserved for brands with over 50 years of continuous use and deep territorial roots. The status certifies the cigar’s tradition while ensuring the protection of its authenticity in international markets.
To mark the occasion, MST is launching a special commemorative collection featuring three rotating graphic designs:
- A classic version updated with the „Marchio Storico“ (Historical Brand) logo.
- Two faithful re-editions of historical packaging, offering enthusiasts a glimpse into the brand’s manufacturing heritage.
Stefano Mariotti, CEO of Manifatture Sigaro Toscano, commented on the achievement:

This tribute honors the „indomitable strength“ of a cigar that has embodied the most authentic expression of Italian slow smoking since 1973.
