New Faces in the 30th Anniversary of Flor de Selva

For Flor de Selva, the news are not limited to cigars alone, but also to the introduction of the company’s new Executive Vice-President, Luc Hybernat. New horizons, according to Maya Selva, founder of the company and the brand’s driving force, „Luc Hybernat’s experience in the world of wine, spirits, and premium cigars will provide us with a new and much-needed boost.“

Luc Hybernat joins Flor de Selva just in the year of its 30th anniversary, a date the company celebrated not only with the opening of its new factory in Danli, Honduras, but also with the release of an expected cigar: Flor de Selva 30th Anniversary Salomón.

A 100% Honduran cigar that has spent five extra years in the factory’s cedar room waiting for its moment to be released. It’s a double figurado Solomon cigar, measuring 178 x 58 mm (at its thickest point), presented in individual boxes, but also in a spectacular box of ten with a magnificent design. In total, 25,000 cigars have been produced for all markets.

Along with the 30th anniversary, Flor de Selva presented its now traditional cigar dedicated to the Chinese New Year, which, in 2026, will be honoring the horse. This is the seventh edition of Flor de Selva’s Chinese zodiac cigar, for which they have prepared a blend with Honduran tobacco in wrapper and binder and a filler Hondurian and Nicaraguan leaves, presented with that elegant fusion of Mayan and Oriental motifs that characterizes all their Chinese editions. Flor de Selva Year of the Horse is available in a double corona format, measuring 178 x 52 mm, in boxes of ten.
