CSWC in Montenegro

Maybe it was a rookie mistake, who knows, but it if it wasn’t for the burning of the ring, newcomer Udo Beker would’ve been the 2023 national slow smoking champion of Montenegro. Instead it ended with one of the closest races of the season. In fact, if Beker’s ring hadn’t burned and caused him a 15 minute penalty the top three would all have finished within one minute.

The event was held at Casa de Puros in Podgorica and organized by its owner and CSWC judge, Aleksandar Djuretic, and manager Milica Popovic, and the one emerging victorious from this nail-biting showdown was Konstantin Pavlon.

“Pavlon’s mastery shone through as he clinched victory by a mere few seconds, narrowly surpassing the exceptional performance of Nikola Maksan, who secured a commendable second place,” it says on the CSWC website.

Maksan’s cigar burned out 22 seconds before Pavlon’s.

2.     Nikola Maksan 1:22:32
3.     Udo Beker 1:08:34
