Quality Importers Trading Company reduces wholesale and retail pricing on most of its best-selling XIKAR cigar accessories line, effective today on new orders. The changes affect 24 models of XIKAR lighters and cutters, all travel cases, and 16 humidification-related products. Price reductions range from 3% up to 28%, averaging a 17% decrease within the group.
“Over the last several years, many factors within the global supply chain coupled with layers of tariffs forced costs up, which ultimately put pressure on wholesale and retail prices,” says Marilyn Florez-Giordano, President and COO of Quality Importers. “We are passionate about our business and the people we serve, so our challenge was to find new ways to keep the line affordable and profitable. We sought to create new efficiencies and cost savings throughout the entire supply chain, including demand planning, sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, to offset as much of the outside cost pressures as possible. The return to stable and lower global shipping rates and the recent tariff reductions have helped. Since 2011, Quality Importers has exclusively manufactured and marketed the Stinky Cigar line of cigar ashtrays. In June 2024, the Company acquired the brand outright, and in June of this year, the Company also implemented wholesale and retail price reductions on all of the brand’s metal ashtrays.
