It seems hard to believe for central Europeans, but in Oslo, Norway there are some great places to indulge into cigars.
HIMKOK (pronounced: “him-kook) means “moonshine” and appears from the outside like a speak-easy bar. Because they distill their own Gin, Vodka and Aquavit on site, no outside advertising is allowed. Do like I have been told and follow the blue light over the entrance. You will find a stunning variety of Cocktails in an unbelievable quality served in perfect and friendly style. No wonder Himkok is listed as one of the best 50 bars worldwide and I can see a lot of potential further up.
But best of all for us cigar lovers, there are 2 terrasses in the backyard that are covered and heated and we can both enjoy our favorite cigar with a great cocktail. Up to 80 people can be seated outside.
If you do not bring your own cigar, the friendly staff will help you with there nice selection out of their humidor.
