VegaFina launched its limited-edition Conde Pig Tail in spring 2016. The cigar’s head features a tightly twisted “pigtail” of wrapper leaf that lends the series its distinctive name. Filler tobaccos are a combination of Dominican Olor Seco and Piloto Ligero, Colombian Tairona and Nicaraguan Seco; the binder is an Indonesian Java and the wrapper an oily Ecuadorian Habana. The tobaccos are aged up to seven years.
Tasting notes: This Corona begins fine-spicy, creamy, discreet sweetish. It develops coffee, leathery and roasted aromas, woody notes, a delicate fruitiness, some peppery spice and raisin sweetness. Medium-bodied.
