Two Faces

Undoubtedly, one of the most innovative and original presentations at Intertabac 2026 was the new "Two Faces" by The Circus—a brand manufactured by Daniel Guerrero’s El Viejo Continente. It is a cigar that is essentially two cigars  in one featuring different wrappers on either side as well as different blends.

Actually, “Two faces” are two cigars in one, joined by a single leaf that serves as both the base and the structural guide for the entire cigar. Presented in a Churchill format, half the box features cigars starting with the claro wrapper (the milder side), while the other half features the oscuro wrapper (the stronger side), allowing the consumer to choose the type of smoke they prefer.

Additionally, El Viejo Continente showcased its Tenth-anniversary cigar at Intertabac 2026—a Toro Gordo (152 mm x 54 / 6x54) made entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco. Daniel Guerrero displayed this alongside the brand's fifth-anniversary Salomón, which had previously received a 94-point rating from Cigar Journal.

Finally, El Viejo Continente introduced "Óbolo" in two thick ring-gauge formats: Robusto (5 x 54) and Toro (6 x 58). This cigar presents a blend Daniel Guerrero had kept in reserve and has now decided to bring to market; it is made with an Ecuadorian wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder and filler, the latter incorporating tobacco from Pueblo Nuevo, Nicaragua.
