Selected Tobacco Unveils Petit Edition

From the vision of Nelson Alfonso comes a new collector’s release that brings together the distinguished portfolio of Selected Tobacco in a presentation worthy of a royal gift collection. The Selected Tobacco Petit Edition is an exclusive five-cigar set celebrating the portfolio.

Presented in an elegant package with a deep-wine finish reminiscent of a fine glass of Spanish Rioja, the Petit Edition makes an immediate impression. Its exterior features a refined pin line decorative pattern, complemented by the Alfonso Guardian Angel coin, a symbolic centerpiece representing the heart of Selected Tobacco. An elegant magnetic tab secures the lid, revealing a carefully arranged cigar collection, each housed in its own cosmetic-grade aluminum tube.

The Petit Edition brings together five distinct expressions from the Selected Tobacco portfolio, including three established brands and two previously unreleased vitolas making their debut in this exclusive collection. Atabey Idolos (4 x 55), Byron Petit Poemas (4 x 50) and the Alfonso Añejo No. 1 (4 x 50). Completing the collection are two previously unreleased sizes: the Bandolero Premium Intrépidos (4 x 50), and the Nelson Nobles (4 x 40).

Beyond its presentation, the Petit Edition showcases the defining philosophy of Selected Tobacco. Every cigar in the set has undergone Selected Tobacco’s proprietary post-roll aging process, with a minimum of four years of aging. Certain lines receive a minimum of five years, reflecting the individual requirements of each blend and Selected Tobacco’s commitment to allowing its cigars to mature under carefully controlled conditions.

For Nelson Alfonso, aging is an essential part of the work itself, the final character of a cigar develops long after it leaves the rolling table. That philosophy is reflected throughout the Selected Tobacco portfolio. Each cigar is united by a shared commitment to measured time.

The Selected Tobacco Petit Edition will begin shipping to United Cigars retail partners in mid-November, with a suggested retail value of $164 per set.
