Ruiz Cigars | Cigar Friendly, Reno (NV)

Everyone knows about the lavish, over-the-top city of Las Vegas. But perhaps you don’t know about “The Biggest Little City in the World,” which sits in Northern Nevada by the California border.

The city of Reno is an absolute gem of a town that is catching fire these days and becoming one of the most desired places to live in the United States. With the gorgeous Lake Tahoe a mere 40 miles away, this area makes for one of the best vacation spots in the United States. If you are a lover of the leaf, this town can deliver in that department as well. Ruiz Cigars, owned by Marvin Ruiz and run by his wonderful family, has two locations in the area. One in Sparks, a tiny suburb of Reno, and the other in South Reno on the way to Tahoe and Carson City. The Reno location is really where the magic happens.

Cigar lovers that live in or make their way through Northern Nevada have Ruiz Cigars pinpointed on their map. The Ruiz family is from Nicaragua, so they are quite knowledgeable about tobacco. The knowledge and the love can be experienced every day when visiting. There is ample seating in the establishment and also a well-stocked humidor that really focuses on boutique brands. In the back is a kitchen that is available to all, and this kitchen also includes a fridge for all the libations that you may bring with you to RC.

So plan your trip to Reno today! Gamble in the casinos, ski at Lake Tahoe, hike in the mountains and get some great food in the midtown region of Reno. When you are done with all that, get yourself over to Ruiz Cigars and sit back and relax and reconnect with a beautiful smoky treat and a beverage and be thankful that you got to experience this wonderful area before you head back to the hotel and do it all again the next day!
