New Davidoff Nicaragua Box Pressed will be Available Late March in the USA

The new Davidoff Nicaragua Box Pressed marks the first time Davidoff introduces a box pressed cigar. The new line features some changes in the blend of the original Davidoff Nicaragua line which was voted as Cigar Journal’s Best Brand/DR in 2015.

Charles Awad, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & Innovation at Oettinger Davidoff AG said: “After the huge success of Davidoff Nicaragua, our master blender crafted these superb and more intense Nicaraguan Puros, in a box pressed format.”

The modification in grade from Estelí Visus to Ligero gives the box pressed cigar additional spice and strength compared to the cigars of the Nicaragua base line. To complement this, the Condega leaves add the sweetness to the bitter-sweet palate stimulation. Completing the multi-layered sensation, the Habano Nicaragua Oscuro wrapper intensifies the flavours and aromas.

The Davidoff Nicaragua Box Pressed line comes in two formats: a 5 x 48 Robusto (USD 14.50) and a 6 x 52 Toro (USD 17.20). The cigar line will be available in the USA in late March of 2016 and will be sold in boxes of 12 cigars and packs of 4 cigars. The launch in other countries is scheduled for summer 2016.
