Joya de Nicaragua will introduce a new Antaño blend at the IPCPR trade show mid July: The new Antaño Gran Reserva features the same character as the Antaño 1970 but instead uses select extra aged tobaccos.
“The main alteration that comes with the Antaño Gran Reserva is that we have added fillers that have been aged for up to five years. As a result, we have obtained a more refined and mature version of the Antaño 1970.” said Juan Ignacio Martínez, Executive President of Joya de Nicaragua.
Joya de Nicaragua’s Antaño line is the company’s bestselling cigar in the U.S. Additionally to the newly released Antaño Gran Reserva, it includes the original Antaño 1970 (winner of the Best Value Nicaragua Cigar Trophy in 2014) as well as Antaño Dark Corojo.
