Continental launches Tradicion Line

With partly new ownership, Continental Tobacco from Hungary, came to InterTabac with a whole new line of cigars. Still under the name Essenze, they now have added the Tradicion line.

“We wanted to go back to traditional cigar sizes,” export director Tibor Gosztonyi says. “The Short Panatela is for customers who want a shorter smoking experience, as well as markets where cigars are taxed by weight and not per piece, like Japan. The other two are Lusitania and Diadema, and they are actually the longest cigars we’ve ever made, and the special shape of the Diadema demands very careful rolling.”

The Essenz Tradicion line will be available on the international market.
