Bernie Rodriguez and Frank Santos Join A.J. Fernandez

A.J. Fernandez promoted Bernie Rodriguez to head the US distribution of his cigar brands, taking over from Enrique Somoza who had been promoted to the position of Director of Operations in January 2016. Rodriguez previously held several management positions within the US Government and recently retired with 32 years of service, which included 12 years in the U.S. Navy. Company owner Fernandez commented, “I’m very happy to have Bernie on our team. His wealth of knowledge and management experience from his time spent working for the US Government is fascinating.”

Also, long time industry veteran Frank Santos has been appointed as the Marketing Director. Santos brings over 20 years of cigar industry experience, namely as marketing director for Carlos Toraño Cigars for many years.
